### What's new in 6.0

#### Play video like a sampler

- **Polyoptic playback:** multiple clips at once. A second pad adds a second clip instead of cutting off the first.
- **Poly Mode** per song: clips blend over each other, tile side by side, or split into stripes and spots.
- **Gate launch mode** (the clip plays while the pad is held) and **velocity** (hit harder, it comes in louder).
- **Audio Clips:** a sound file is a clip of its own, on the same pad as its visual.

#### Who else can play it

- **Lighting console control:** patch Visibox as a fixture on grandMA, Hog, Eos, ChamSys, Avolites, or QLC+ and run it from cues over sACN or Art-Net.
- **Visibox Remote** for iOS and Android, on the way: songs, clips, and visuals from a phone or tablet.
- **Song Timelines (Beta):** a song fires its own clips and sends MIDI to change a keyboard patch at the right bar.
- **OSC** (TouchOSC, QLab, Resolume, Max/MSP), **Bitfocus Companion**, **Node-RED**, and **Touch Portal**.

#### Where it fits in the show

- **Setlists:** several running orders in one Project.
- **Multitrack backing tracks** with each stem on its own output, plus **multichannel ASIO audio on Windows (Beta)**.
- **Lyrics and chord charts (Beta)** on their own display, from ChordPro, OnSong, Nashville numbers, and more.
- **Multiple screens** in rows and columns, laid out in the new Canvas settings.
- **Output to other places:** NDI (Beta), SDI through Blackmagic DeckLink (Beta), Syphon on Mac (Beta), and Spout on Windows (Beta). **Record the output** with audio.

#### Also in 6.0

- **ISF shader effects** alongside the built-in effects. Audio-reactive effects follow the mix, a microphone, a line input, or another app.
- **Overlays:** a logo or lower third for a whole Project, one song, or one clip.
- **Rebuilt interface** on one consistent design. Faster launch, and big Projects open faster.

### Who uses it

Bands, DJs, theaters, worship teams, small venues, and the lighting operators who run their shows.
