You've dropped 19 Clips into a Song, and now you want all of them to freeze on the last frame instead of looping. One at a time, that's 19 right-clicks through the same menu.
Do it once instead. Visibox will edit multiple Clips at once, and the whole trick is where you right-click.
What a right-click gives you
Right-click any Clip and the Clip Editor Panel opens with everything about that Clip in one place. A Visualizer Clip has the Visualizer itself, the Audio Source driving its audio-reactive motion, Resolution, and Target FPS. Nearly every Clip has Flip and Rotate, Filters for Brightness and Contrast, Effects, and Fade In and Fade Out.
That part most people find on their own. The next part is the one we get asked about.
Selecting multiple Clips
Click outside a Clip and drag a rectangle around the ones you want, the way you'd select files in the Finder or File Explorer. Selected Clips are outlined in blue.
- Hold ⇧ Shift and drag to add more Clips to the selection.
- Hold ⌥ Option (Alt on Windows) and drag to take Clips back out of it.
- Hold ⌘ Command (Ctrl on Windows) and click a Clip to toggle only that one.
Now right-click any Clip in the selection. Same panel, pointed at all of them.
You get what they have in common
With 19 Clips selected, the panel counts them: Delete 19 Clips, Duplicate 19 Clips. Under that you get the options those particular Clips share, and every change you make lands on all of them.
Select video, image, and Visualizer Clips together and the list is short, because an image has no end to reach and a Visualizer has no video track to trim. Narrow the selection to video Clips and options like When Clip Ends come back. Set it to Freeze and every one of them picks up the end-behavior icon in the bottom-right corner of its thumbnail.
Where a setting differs across the selection, the panel says Mixed. That's your heads-up about what you're about to overwrite.
Selecting by type from the menu
Dragging a rectangle isn't the only way in. Edit > Select takes All Clips (⌘A, Ctrl+A on Windows) or All Songs, or one type at a time: All Video Clips, All Image Clips, All Camera Clips, All Visualizer Clips, and All Color Clips. Deselect All (⇧⌘A, Ctrl+Shift+A) clears it. Ask for all the Visualizer Clips in a Project, right-click, and set the Audio Source on every one of them in a single move.
Songs work the same way
Songs select the same way Clips do. Drag a rectangle around the handles at the top of the Song frames, or hold ⌘ Command (Ctrl on Windows) and click handles one at a time, and you can move, duplicate, or delete the whole group at once. There's less to set on a Song than on a Clip, but the gesture is identical.
